"A Child Called 'It'"

Dave Pelzer, author of this sad, but true story, suffered growing up as a child. His alcoholic mother brutally beat him and starved him. This book is a story of how a young child survived the cruelty. I liked it because it shows that you can always be strong enough to overcome your weaknesses.
