"Twilight" Read it? Loved it. Haven't read it? Read it.
Everyone loves Twilight. The author, Stephenie Meyer, sure has a way with words. My reason for loving it is the violence and frightening events behind the flattering love story. Bella magically falls in love with Edward, a vampire, living in disguise in a normal life.
They shouldn't be together, they shouldn't even talk, or look at each other. They're in love, what else are they supposed to do? However, when their relationship becomes public, danger enters both of their lives.

"Party Girls"

This book I read a long while ago, but I still remember the effect it made on how my relationship with my friends was. This is a story of a young teenage girl, also a member of a gang, who lost her best friend in a drive-by shooting. This incident makes her wonder; should I stick with the gang life?

A very very sad story, it will keep you up at night and scared about what will happen next.

"A Child Called 'It'"
Dave Pelzer, author of this sad, but true story, suffered growing up as a child. His alcoholic mother brutally beat him and starved him. This book is a story of how a young child survived the cruelty. I liked it because it shows that you can always be strong enough to overcome your weaknesses.

"My Sister's Keeper" kept me up very late at night, turning pages. The author of this heart-touching book is Jodi Picoult. She definitely has a way with words. This book is a story of a 13-year-old girl named Anna, who sues her parents for the rights of her own body. Kate, her older sister, suffers from a cancer called, acute promyelocytic leukemia. Anna was born into this world to give Kate the body parts she needs to survive.
You won't be able to put this book down, and it will have a very shocking ending.
I liked it because it made me laugh, smile, cry, frown, and think about the ones I love and are close to me a lot differently.

"It Happened to Nancy" is a great book. It is a diary of an anonymous teenager. Nancy thought she was in love, but was raped instead, and ended up getting AIDS. I like this book because it tells the real feelings of a young teenage girl, and I can somehow relate to it.
